Project: Prototype Semi-Submersible Marine Mechanism for Energy Research
ADMC Provided The Following Services;
A- On-Site Meetings to Review and Define Scope Or Mechanisms Requirement With Customers In-House Engineering Team. Develop Concepts Off-Site At ADMC For Mechanism That Fulfills Structural And Dynamic Requirements Per Meetings Definitions. Develop And Submit Product Concept Sketches Based On Meetings for Customers Approval.
B- Develop and Maintain In Pro/Engineer At ADMC The Complete Products 3D Model Set Utilizing "Top Down Assembly Strategy" And All 2D Drawing Document Packages (Detail, Sub And Top Assy, BOM'S, Etc.) Required To Fabricate Prototype Complete In Addition To All Associated Database Responsibilities. Validation Of All Component And Assembly Relationships (Detail Part, Sub And Top Assemblies, Motion Studies, Etc.) Were Performed In Pro/Engineer Prior To Creation Of Drawings And Fabrication. Note: No Scrap Or Rework Due To Concept, Design Or Modeling Errors Was Generated During This Project Involving Over 1000+ Components !
C- Coordinate On And Off-Site With All Detail And Assembly Fabricators, Marine Rigging And Dive Teams As Required In Representation Of The Customer. Investigate, Audit And Introduce New Suppliers Into Chain As Required To Fulfill Customers Requirements. All Fabrication Drawings Were Shipped Direct From ADMC To Prime Customer And Fabricators In Real Time As Fabrication Was Underway. Provide Liaison Between Customer And Fabricators To Maintain Project Continuity.
D- Provide On-Site First Article As Required At Detail Component Fabricators (Machine Shops) And Assembly Fabricator In Representation Of The Customer. Perform First Article Inspection At Fabricator Of Final Assembly To Validate Mechanism Integrity To Engineering Drawings. Review Transportation Requirements With Customer And Fabricators As Required.
E- Provide On-Site "Hands On" Reassembly And Functional Testing Of Mechanism At Customer Specified Location Prior To Mechanism Deployment At Sea.
F- Provide On-Site Services At Sea During Mechanism Deployment. Coordinate With Marine Riggers And Divers As Required Per Customer Request To Insure Safety Of Individuals And Safe Handling Of Mechanism.
